When I came here, I was in an abusive marriage and it was to the point where my location was being tracked, my cell phone was being watched. We thought that we were at a dead end with not being able to find anybody that would work with us. And we'd gone through several attorneys that just weren't working for us and we discussed the possibility of trying to find somebody that would be a little more personal with us and it was suggested to us that we reach out to Blake and Josh and we did that and it was just a perfect relationship to begin with. He treated me like I was a queen and he listened to what I had to say and one of the very first things he did is he moved the ball and it hadn't moved in oh, maybe two, two and a half years. And they would meet me at the courthouse so I could walk in with them and that's relieved a lot of that fear for me, them just being there with me at that point. I'll never forget I came into the office and he was like hey, I've told you to stop. When's enough enough? And it kind of like took me back because I was like ok, he's holding me accountable as well, as much as I'm looking at him, he's looking at me and saying hey, you've got to listen, you've got to follow my lead, I know what I'm doing. And I remember my ex-wife saying I cannot get response out of my attorney and she actually asked for my attorney to help her get what she needed from her attorney. When we went to court with Jonathan, we were even more impressed with him at that time than we had been. He was prepared, he'd done his homework, he knew what to say. Kind of felt sorry for the other lawyer because Jonathan just really showed him up, is the only way I know to phrase it. The outcome was a great settlement. I got over a million dollars, in property and money. Had we not had the Caulder firm I don't think there would've been any way we would've prevailed. When we went to trial, every single aspect was addressed that was a concern of mine. I really couldn't ask for better as far as you know, the arrangements for my children. And I know, that if something happens to me, that she will be with family that loves her and is there for her. In my opinion, the outcome came out perfect. You're going to get the results that folks might say you would get from going to a Charlotte attorney but you're going to get that personal touch that you find in a small town. If you want to work with a group of people that you really feel like are on your side and make you feel comfortable, then you're not going to find anybody any better. It's unfamiliar but I would tell you to take the leap of faith, get in front of Josh, get in front of the firm, see what they have to offer. It's worth it.
