Finally, Jonathan has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in alienation of affections matters, a niche area of North Carolina law.

Jonathan has also adeptly handled a wide range of complex civil matters. Jonathan routinely handles partition matters, litigation regarding contract and construction disputes, and litigation regarding estates and guardianships. In one recent matter, he successfully obtained a writ of certiorari in Superior Court against a county in North Carolina, overturning a unanimous decision made by a board. Jonathan also was able to assist his client in a recent case in obtaining real property in an adverse possession claim against a neighboring landowner seeking to develop the property, showcasing his tenacity. Additionally, Jonathan has both filed and defended actions regarding title of real with meticulous care.

Originally from western North Carolina, Jonathan excelled academically, graduating from Western Carolina University with a perfect 4.0 GPA. He went on to attend Elon University School of Law, where he achieved a 4.186 GPA and ranked first in his class of 107 students.

While in law school, Jonathan served as president of the Federalist Society and received numerous accolades, including the Clinical Legal Education Association Outstanding Student Award, Presidential Scholar recognition, Dean's List honors, and multiple Outstanding Performance Awards across various courses.
